the mentality that took me from obsessing over my appearance to not caring

My story… when i was 17, i thought my worth was my appearance. i thrived on validation from others… especially from men (D1 snapchat whore) and every time i looked in the mirror and didn’t feel good enough, it crushed me. i was stuck in a loop of negative thoughts, mentally training myself to hate the person i saw. it even led to an ed. all that energy, tears, and time… wasted on something that honestly doesn’t matter.

then i discovered the book ‘conversations with god’ by neale donald walsch, and it completely changed my perspective. i realized: you are not your body. you are a soul, constantly creating, constantly evolving. your body is just the vessel and it’s perfect exactly the way it is.

so here’s the truth: stop wasting your energy comparing yourself, judging yourself, or trying to fit someone else’s idea of “perfect.” love yourself, love your soul, and confidence will follow naturally. you are powerful, whole, and enough just as you are ❤️‍🩹

stand in your truth, walk in your power, and remember: your appearance doesn’t define your value. you do.
