I don't think I ever have - or ever will - wake up to a better bedroom view than the ground floor en suite double at Animare Villas in Rogoznica. To my left from the pillow, the infinity pool, and behind that, the uninterrupted view of another unforgettable day starting on the Adriatic.
This was my first experience of staying in a villa first row to the sea. We were ten in total, including kids from 7 to 13, and it never felt crowded. The pool and the outdoor grilling and dining space were the focus of life and relaxation, and there was absolutely no need or desire to leave this slice of Dalmatian heaven for the duration of our stay.
