Introducing: PJ Taylor Band. Founded in 2023 in Landgraaf, The Netherlands.
The band was formed around singer-songwriter PJ Snijders (Supersonics, The Taildraggers) with the idea to set up a band to play strictly original songs in a traditional, classic rockin’ 60’s honky tonk / Bakersfield style with a lot of twang, truckin’ and rock & roll. Although the music is all original, the songs immediately remind of mostly uptempo 1960’s George Jones, Buck Owens, Red Simpson, Wynn Stewart or Johnny Paycheck.

Great festivals like Wild Rooster Festival (NL), Rolmo’s Roots Rock (BE), Rock ’n Roll SUNday Hoorn (NL), Cowboy Up (BE), Roots In A Jar (BE) … and lots more coming up!

So get ready for lots of twang, swing, truckin’ and rock & roll (with a touch of rockabilly) coming from 2 Telecaster lead-guitars, an upright bass, acoustic guitar and drums. The band’s musicians have a lot of experience in the broad American roots music field (like country, blues, rockabilly and rock & roll), with a heart that’s beating fast for traditional country and honky tonk music.
We’re keeping real rockin’ country music alive!
