"Ases culebreantes" (wriggling aces) was part of Arturo de Ascanio's routine which won 1st place at the Amsterdam FISM competition back in 1970. This is a recreation of the explanation found in volume 2 of Jesús Etchevery’s “The magic of Ascanio, studies of card magic” (blue color cover) along with Arturo’s latest developments of the effect, where he included some effective lay-downs to the routine. Since the effect was originally devised to be performed standing, some modifications in the final phase (which worsen the original handling) have been introduced in order to avoid the hands getting out of frame.
