Join me as I visit my quilts at the wonderful Iowa Quilt Museum in historic Winterset, Iowa!

What does a quilt shop owner do when her quilts get to be in a quilt museum? She takes a day off to visit them, of course! The beautiful Iowa Quilt Museum (complete with a small gift shop) changes its exhibits four times a year so there is something new to see throughout the year. This current exhibit ends April 20, 2025. If you're a quilter who lives close, or are just passing through, make sure to visit soon!

The Quilted Forest is located at 205 North Clark in Forest City, IA. Our phone number is 641-585-2438. We stock patterns, books, notions, batting, and fabric for sewing and quilting projects. Our shop is filled with finished quilts and smaller projects to provide plenty of inspiration. We are open Monday - Friday, 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. We are in the central time zone.
