Adult Suspect Suddenly Appears from the Darkness and Starts Kicking Deputy’s Marked Patrol Car During an Unrelated Traffic Stop
As a Spokane County Deputy, in a fully marked patrol car, was conducting a traffic stop, an uninvolved adult male suddenly emerged from the darkness and began kicking his passenger’s side door. Understandably startled, the Deputy called for emergency assistance and drew his taser as he exited his patrol car. The suspect followed commands, and with additional Deputies assisting, he was arrested. The suspect said he decided to walk up to the patrol car and kick the door because he “hates cops”.

On November 7, 2025, at approximately 8:35 pm, a Spokane County Deputy was conducting a traffic stop in the 1100 block of N. Argonne Road.
After contacting the driver and obtaining all the required documents, the Deputy returned to his patrol car to continue his investigation.
Now seated in his car, the Deputy began the process of checking the paperwork and conducting checks on his mobile data computer.
Suddenly and unexpectedly, an unrelated male, later identified as 34-year-old Blake C. Alexander, appeared on the passenger’s side of the patrol car and violently began kicking the door.
Startled, the Deputy, who was alone during the traffic stop, called for emergency assistance, exited his patrol car, drew his taser, and began giving commands. Alexander immediately got on the ground and remained compliant until additional Deputies arrived and safely took him into custody.
Alexander was advised of his rights, and he agreed to answer questions. The suspect explained that he is homeless and was walking in the area when he noticed the Deputy on a traffic stop. He decided to run over and start kicking the patrol car because he hates cops and how they treat him. He did not know the Deputy, nor did he single out any specific law enforcement agency.
Alexander was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail for felony Malicious Mischief 1st Degree, a misdemeanor charge of Obstructing Law Enforcement, and an unrelated misdemeanor warrant.
According to records, this is the second time Alexander has been booked into the Spokane County Jail since 2020.
