Rockman.EXE Stream - Forte vs Slur (Round 2) (English Subtitles, High Quality)

4/23/24 - I did not expect this video to get over 100,000 views let alone over 1,000. Of course I'm not gonna let it go to my head because it is not my material and I do not own anything from the show, but the fact I was able to do a couple of minor edits to make this fight run fully without many interruptions and have it garner this many views is pretty cool to me. I'm glad I was able to contribute to the community with this upload. I've thought about maybe doing another video like this (maybe Rockman vs Blues) but I just have had the time. Now that this has reached 100K views I might edit another fight or something and upload it :)

I'm currently watching through the Rockman.EXE series since I want to experience the series again. I originally watch the localized English version during the wild west days of early YouTube and enjoyed the show a lot. When I finished the second season I learned there were three more seasons and a movie that never got localized and I was very sad. Here I am one million years later experiencing the show in it's original state with fansubtitles and I am enjoying it.

I do not recommend the series though. While I am enjoying it, it's 50% nostalgia and 50% curiosity for what will happen next. The pacing and plot is just awful. There is so much potential for neat and cool things, but the writers just have no clue how to make an engaging and action pack plot last for a decent length of time. I think the original 26 episodes or so is when the show peaked. The rest of season one is when the trend of misguided writers begin to make the show absurdly stupid and horribly paced.

Rockman.EXE Stream is the third season, or third series depending on how you want to look at things. Forte is pretty cool in this series, but the writers just don't do anything with him. I'm hoping in the last 51 episodes with Beast and Beast+ Forte does some cool stuff, but I doubt it. I do not recommend this series :)

Edit: Having now finished the entire anime, my personal opinion is that it's very mediocre. When the plot is moving forward and getting interesting, it is quite enjoyable. But there is so much mindless filler that you often forget there is a grandiose plot happening. There are some funny filler episodes, but the big bulk of them are just boring. I would still recommend the series because it is interesting and not too terribly long, but there are way better stuff that I would recommend.
