Between some small and a larger woodturning projects I made this simple oak bowl. This piece of oak had been under the lathe for quite some time, so it was dry. Unexpectedly, I came across a knot that was rotten deep into the piece of wood. I filled it with shavings, coffee and sawdust. By using CA glue, the coffee reacts and becomes very hard.
At the end it became a simple utility bowl. Nothing special, just having some good time in my tiny workshop behind the lathe🤗
