In this short video, I revisit a 0-Coast harmonization concept I tried long ago. The basic idea is to use the SQ-1 for controlling both the main oscillator (on channel B) and the slope circuit as a second audio-rate oscillator (on channel A).
In this patch I leave the internal routing from slope to the overtone multiplier, so the multiply circuit provides the harmonies via oscillation of the overtones. I tune the steps of the SQ-1 (minor key on channel B and linear on channel A) to different harmonies and cycle through them manually, spending a bit of time in between the pleasant ratios. I clock the 0-Coast tempo at audio rate and patch the random output to the Lin FM for a bit of added weirdness. Dynamics is at 100%, so the warmth of the overdrive is in full force.
