Koh Chang is a beautiful Thai island with a mountainous terrain with many waterfalls, jungles and elephants in Trat province and is located approximately 6 hours by bus and ferry from Bangkok. The island is quiet and not flooded with massive tourism, yet you can find all services on it. The best time to visit the island is from December to March. There are many other islands in the neighborhood of the island that can be visited such as Koh Mak and Koh Kood and many smaller islets.
