As Final Fantasy ventured onto the SNES with Final Fantasy IV, Cecil Harvey was chosen as the protagonist who would be used to tell a much richer tale than we'd ever seen before.

It would see him develop meaningful relationships with many of game's expansive cast of characters, like Kain, Rosa and Golbez and of course, he would undergo one of the most famous transformations in the history of the franchise. Cecil would leave his dark past behind and embrace the light by becoming a Paladin.
