While return is often seen as a sign of hope, many families are going back to conditions marked by instability, damaged infrastructure and limited services. This event featured insights from UNHCR staff and a creative spotlight from a refugee artist. The conversation emphasized the role of private donor support in enabling dignified, voluntary returns — and in helping families rebuild their lives with safety and dignity.
