At Souter Lighthouse during Marconi Weekend (I think?) using a 5/8 wave end fed on 80m held up by a kite. We had to use a 4:1 balun here because I left the 9:1 at home! Still, both baluns have a DC to ground so that kept the static at bay.
Thanks to Gerard for hogging the radio (as he always does), Dave for mucking in with keeping everything in the air and Ron for taking the video and sending it to me! Oh yes, I'm Paul, the one throwing the kite up!
