Zia always has a great time at Animal Kingdom. Although there’s not many characters you can meet face to face, the shows are absolutely incredible!

“Finding Nemo: The Big Blue & Beyond” has reopened with a reimagined stage show! It made its debut on June 13th 2022. The cast is incredibly talented! They sound and act exactly like the characters from the movie. Zia and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

“The Festival of the Lion King” has always been a hit! It’s colorful, exciting, and thrilling. They start off the show with the “Circle of Life” song which immediately gives you goosebumps. The show includes singing, stunts, aerobatics, and a fire performer. It’s spectacular!

The great thing about Animal Kingdom is it provides a much more relaxing ambiance than all the other parks. You don’t feel as rushed. I believe the Cavalcades have a lot to do with it. Also referred to as Character Boats, or Character Cruises. They sail along the river multiple times throughout the day. You’ll see Characters such as Pocahontas, Meeko, Chip n Dale, Goofy, Rafiki, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, Mickey, Minnie, etc. The Character Boats are so much more intimate than a parade. You don’t have to wait standing in the Florida hot sun, and the characters are more likely to wave at you. Be sure to be on the lookout if you’re standing near the river because you never know who you’ll spot.
