FusionKraft™ Hey-Groves Bone Holding Forceps is a specialized orthopaedic instrument that surgeons frequently use for grasping, holding and mobilizing fractured bone pieces, in order to reposition them into their normal alignment. The instrument comes with atraumatic semi-curved jaws with horizontal serrations on their inner surfaces, which helps in securing a strong grasping action with minimal adnexal injury. As a result, surgeons can clamp small, medium and large bone fragments and place them into the stabilization position. In addition, the instrument features an ergonomic plier style handle with a wingnut-type lock system. Surgeons can manually operate the wingnut to open or close the jaws, thereby controlling the clamping pressure.
