I'm getting back to my RC roots and saw this kit back around late spring and decided it was time to build my first RC car since the Tamiya Grasshopper came out in the early '80s. I've always loved RC cars and tanks and decided it was time to have some fun with it again. My channel is about hobbies, not just model car building so when I saw this kit, I was thinking how good it looked and how much fun it would be to build it and have some fun with it.
The Tamiya BBX/BB-01 kit is a great kit and has lots of possibilities. I decided to make it my own custom version and did some mods to it as well. I bought some hop-up parts and did a custom paint job on the kit.
I used a Castle motor and ESC combo and will mainly be using 2s lipo batteries for her power source. There's a lot of info about the mods coming up in the actual build videos so stay tuned for them to come out very soon.
