Burnt your kitchen countertop? I'll show you a cool restoration method in 5 minutes DIY

I will show you how easy, fast and perfect it is to restore a burnt kitchen countertop made of chipboard. Many have encountered such a problem in everyday life, but not everyone knows that such damage to the countertop can be repaired on your own in a short time and with minimal costs. To restore the burnt (damage) on the surface, I will use special restoration materials for local repair. These are hard waxes, retouching materials (acrylic paint, markers), a soldering iron, a spatula, varnish and some auxiliary tools. These materials can be purchased in the form of small restoration kits that contain everything you need to repair various minor damages to furniture at home.

👉 Description of the restoration process:
First, you need to clean the burnt area of dirt, degrease it with a solvent. Then, with acrylic paint of the appropriate color, I paint the edges and the base of the damage. After the damage dries, I fill it with hard waxes of the necessary shades. I cut off the wax residue with a plastic spatula with teeth that does not scratch the surface - I level the surface with it. I restore the detailed structure of the surface with acrylic paints with a thin brush. At the final stage, the repaired damage must be covered with a transparent protective varnish of the appropriate gloss. The varnish can be used in the form of a marker (if the damage is small), or in the form of an aerosol if it is necessary to apply to a larger surface area. I will restore this damage to using professional restoration materials from KONIG, which are specially designed for local restoration of various types of damage to surfaces. Such restoration can also be performed with similar materials from other manufacturers. I hope this information will be useful to you.
