Tyler Ray is the Senior Director for Programs and Advocacy for American Hiking Society (AHS). He leads nationwide advocacy efforts in support of federal funding for our nation's trails across public lands and has been a leader in efforts to pass outdoor recreation and conservation legislation including the Great American Outdoors Act and the Dingell Act to permanently authorize the Land and Water Conservation Fund. Tyler co-leads the annual Hike the Hill® advocacy event that brings over 100 trail leaders to Washington, DC to advocate at the highest levels of government.
