“Then in 2011, we gave birth to our first child, who was born with a rare congenital deformity in her upper and lower limbs. Before her birth, we were told by the doctor about this condition. At a loss, we sought help from the cell group leader. Then he connected us to Ps Henry Yeo for healing prayer. He did a short prayer with us and told us that God will heal the baby. We trusted his words and continued to seek for a miracle healing for her. But reality set in and the baby was still born with the deformity. We were devastated and were not really mentally prepared for it. With great disappointment and anguish, we decided to leave New Creation Church. We had to go through the darkest hours in our faith journey (without God) to handle the baby’s condition: multiple surgeries, rehab and treatment sessions, and all these were in addition to the normal tasks of taking care of a young baby…”
