It's not nice to take items from the restaurant, such as a pepper grinder, Cholula, or other things. These are meant to stay in the restaurant. I’ve seen many items disappear like that, even when they are already filled. Last week, three salt grinders and three pepper grinders went missing, so I had to restock the shelves for customers. Then, over the weekend, when I came in this morning, I saw that three more pepper grinders and one salt grinder were missing. That wasn't very nice of anyone, because it costs the restaurant money to replace them. Those were new and full. You could go to the grocery store to buy your own. How can you afford to go to restaurants but not afford to buy a salt and pepper grinder at the store? Perhaps in the future, the restaurant could consider installing a vending machine and charging for items, such as toothpicks.
