There are two methods: a traditional furnace with direct heat, which blackens the copper, and a better method, the vacuum annealing furnace, which keeps the copper shiny. Step 1️⃣: Preparing the copper bars
The copper bars are carefully arranged on stands, with each bar separated for uniform treatment.

Step 2️⃣: Into the annealing chamber
The bars are placed inside the high-tech vacuum furnace.

Step 3️⃣: Annealing under vacuum
Inside the vacuum furnace, the copper is heated to 2,228°F (1,220°C). The vacuum prevents oxygen from reaching the copper, so it doesn’t oxidize or blacken — only pure heat softens it.

Step 4️⃣: Heating duration
The copper remains in the vacuum furnace for about 7 hours to reach perfect malleability.

Step 5️⃣: Cooling period
After heating, the copper is left to cool naturally for about 24 hours, ensuring flexibility and a shiny surface.
