Wilheminah Luthuli, the daughter- in-law of Chief Albert Luthuli has testified before the re-opened inquest into his death, that Luthuli had sustained an injury to head and she observed no other injuries to his body. The original inquest into Chief Luthuli's death in September 1967 found that he had accidentally been struck by a train in Groutville, KwaZulu-Natal. Wilheminah Luthuli also refuted reports that Chief Luthuli had poor vision, was hard of hearing and unwell at the time.
