തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിലെ കരിയത്തിന് അടുത്തുള്ള ഒരു വീട്ടിലേക്കാണ് വാവാ സുരേഷിന്റെ ഇന്നത്തെ ആദ്യത്തെ യാത്ര .വീട്ടമ്മയാണ് പാമ്പിനെ ആദ്യം കണ്ടത് ,വീടിന് മുന്നിലേക്ക് ഇഴഞ്ഞു വരുന്ന വലിയ ഒരു പാമ്പ് ,നന്നേ പേടിച്ചു ,ഉടൻ വീട്ടിലെ മറ്റുളവരും വന്നു ,നിറയെ കുട്ടികൾ കളിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് പാമ്പ് വന്നത് ,ഇതിനിടയിൽ പാമ്പ് അവിടെ കൂട്ടിയിട്ടിരുന്ന സാധങ്ങൾക്ക് അടിയിലേക്ക് കയറി ,വീട്ടുകാർ ഉടൻ വാവാ സുരേഷിനെ വിളിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു .സ്ഥലത്ത് എത്തിയ വാവാ തിരച്ചിൽ നടത്തി പാമ്പിനെ കണ്ട് പിടിച്ചു നല്ല വിളഞ്ഞ ഒരു ഉഗ്രൻ അണലി .അത് വാവാ സുരേഷിന് നേരെ കടിക്കാനായി കുതിച്ചു ചാടി തലനാരിഴക്കാണ് കടിയിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത് .അണലികൾക്ക് മറ്റ് പാമ്പുകളിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായ വലിയ പല്ലുകലാണ് ഉള്ളത് , പല്ലുകൾക്ക് നല്ല നീളവും അകത്തേക്ക് അൽപ്പം വളവുമുണ്ട് ,
അതിനാൽ ഇവക്ക് ഇരയെ നിഷ്പ്രയാസം വെനം കുത്തിവച്ച് കൊല്ലാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നു.അണലിയുടെ വെനം വളരെയേറെ ശക്തിയേറിയതാണ് ,ഒറ്റക്കടിയിൽ തന്നെ രണ്ട് മനുഷ്യരെ കൊല്ലാനുള്ള വെനമാണ്‌ ഇവ കുത്തിവയ്ക്കുന്നത് ,അതുപോലെ തന്നെ ഇവക്ക് വളരെ വേഗത്തിൽ ഏത് ദിശയിലേക്കും ചാടി കടിക്കുവാനുള്ള കഴിവുണ്ട് . .ഇവയുടെ കടിയേറ്റാൽ വൃക്കയുടെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തെ വളരെ വേഗത്തിൽ ബാധിക്കുന്നു,അതിനാൽ ഇവയുടെ കടിയേറ്റാൽ ഉടൻ തന്നെ ചികിത്സ ലഭ്യമാക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട് ,അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മരണം സംഭവിക്കും .കാണുക അപകടകാരിയായ അണലിയെ പിടികൂടിയ വിശേഷണങ്ങളുമായി എത്തിയ സ്നേക്ക് മാസ്റ്ററിന്റെ ഈ എപ്പിസോഡ്.
