A little railfanning jaunt five years ago OTD yields just three trains. First up is westbound mixed freight 281 at Columbus, WI on the Canadian Pacific Watertown Subdivision with a Union Pacific 3000-series Tier IV SD70ACe leading. Ironically, I've caught far more of these on the CP/CPKC to date than on actual UP tracks!
Moving over to said UP tracks at Clyman Junction, a westbound coke train for Roseport, MN is just departing following a crew change, with all CSX power.
Then it's back to Columbus just in time for Amtrak No. 7, the westbound Empire Builder, departing its station stop in the last of the blue winter twilight.
