Nancy! Wire Wrapped Pendant Tutorial

Hi friends! Thank you for your continued support! My arm continues to heal and while I romanticized the steroid treatments a bit... they did help a little. The arm is still weak but not throbbing, so I am able to work but on a limited basis. I will have to make some changes, going with lighter weight wires, little to no hammering for a while and some imaging of nerves in my neck vertebra to my fingertips next month. I'll keep us posted. I will do new tutorials using lighter weight wires, blended techniques and light weight weaving as we move forward. Your continued love and support mean the world to me, thank you again!

Enjoy the new tutorial! Nancy is a lovely blend of traditional framing style with easy weaving. I teach us how to set a tiny accent gemstone into the front of the bale but if you don't want that accent gem, then just leave the wires bare or twist them together and run them over the top of the weaved bale.

4 x 10 inches each of 20g, round, soft copper wires
10 feet on hand of 28g weaving wires (you will probably use about 7 or 8 feet depending on the size of your bale and stone)
My cabochon is a long teardrop shape Carnelian stone, 1.25 inches long x .5 inch wide. The accent CS is 6mm round and slightly green in color.
4mm accent, round, copper bead ball.

Tools are
Flush Cutter
Round nose
Bent or Chain nose pliers
Wooden dowel to straighten wires
Painter's Tape to help hold wires
