Mayor Eaton welcomes Lisa Garcia, Florence’s long-serving Town Clerk and Deputy Town Manager, for a conversation about what it truly means to serve a community through change, building programs that inspire civic pride, transparency, and meaningful community outreach.
In recognition of Lisa's outstanding years of service, she was a 2025 recipient of the Gabe Zimmerman Public Service Award in the Community Builder category. This prestigious award is presented annually by the Center for the Future of Arizona in partnership with the Zimmerman Family, to honor non-elected public servants who advance community pride, connection, and civic participation—values Gabe Zimmerman embodied as a community outreach director whose life was tragically cut short during a public event in 2011. This award highlights the essential role of professionals, like Lisa, whose dedication has left a lasting mark on their community.
