A ride from Peasholm station at Scarborough's North Bay to Scalby Mills and back on the Scarborough North Bay Railway in September 1996. Our locomotive is No. 1931 "Neptune", a 4-6-2 steam outline diesel hydraulic locomotive built by Hudswell Clarke in Leeds in 1931.
The aerial shot of the train approaching the seafront was taken on the chairlift that ran from Mr Marvels amusement park to the seafront. The chairlift closed several years ago.
