I made a corset! This is the first time I've ever made a corset, and it went well, interesting. I'm turning myself into Morticia Addams for Halloween, and as I always do I'm doing a DIY costume. But make it a challenge! I want to make a full evening dress, and I want it to be as well constructed as I can! So that meant starting with a corset. In this video I'll complete the pieces for the bodice! Lots of pattern drafting, and re-drafting the pattern to get to a good result. Remember good pressing makes better sewing!
While this project has been a DIY nightmare, I'm so excited about the initial results and really looking forward to continuing and seeing the final product!
