Christmas does not have to be a big extravagant get together to be memorable. In fact, a laid back Christmas Day like this is most beneficial for B. She is autistic and has sensory processing disorder. Holidays can come with busy, out of the normal events that can cause someone with autism to be overwhelmed. Less can be more for her... With all that said, we have gotten to a point where she can do the Christmas things. She is really good at self regulating and we are eqipped with the knowledge and tools to ensure B has a successful day no matter what the day brings.
Overall, Christmas 2022 was a good one. B is happy, we are happy. #weefam #christmas2022 #familyvideo
