#ancifansyleather At times of Mary Stuart, women wore luxurious dresses and intrigued, and men dressed in leather and actively participated in fights and feuds. This is how costume designer Meredith Markworth-Pollack presented the characters from the series “Reign” (2013-2017). With true respect for the masculine principle, the designer dressed kings, lords, princes and even servants in leather trousers tucked into high boots. From above, the looks are complemented by chic embroidered caftans and coats, brutal suede and leather vests. Such is, for example, the mercantile Lord Darnley, played by Will Kemp. For his usual everyday look, Camp's hero chooses a white shirt, leather trousers and boots.
