SPLASHTOWN, a brief history:
Splashtown San Antonio was initially opened in 1985 as Water Park USA. After nearly 40 years of operation ending with the summer 2021 season, it was officially announced in October 2021 that a zoning change had been approved for the land. The owner had decided to retire, so as seen in this video, the park is actively in the process of being turned into a Ford dealership after being purchased by the Cavender family.
