Luxury Backcountry Camping - P1 - Strawberry Islands in Opemican with Jenny

Join Jenny and I as we explore Opemicans' backcountry by canoe, and camp on Strawberry Island. We test out quite a few different food and drink options, and celebrate Jennys birthday while checking out a place I've never been before. Opemican National Park in Quebec opened in 2019 and is a great place to get away on an adventure. This one was one of their easy luxury type backcountry camping trips with facilities I've never encountered before, but on my next visit at the end of July, I conquer a new portaging route. This is a perfect place to go if you're new or experienced as there is something in Opemican for everyone. Hope you enjoy the video!

The canoe I'm paddling in 2025 is an H2O Solo 14-6 in the Epoxy Pro Series Prolite Carbon: It has carbon integrated gunwales, epoxy resin, a carbon outer skin and kevlar inner layers. It weighs approximately 32lbs. This canoe was created to celebrate H2O's 20th Anniversary displaying the standard 20th anniversary symbols of asters, platinum and emeralds. There are also 10 asters per side, totalling 20, to represent the years H2O Canoe Company has been in business.
