Story Summary :-
Op’s daughter, Amy is in her early twenties and Op is a single parent taking care of her. After completing college, Amy refuses to work and stays bratty. Op sees that Amy is just wasting her time, using Op’s money to spend on useless things to impress her friends. Op finds that her friend group is also bad. One night, Op discovers that Amy sneaks out to the pub every night. Op confronts Amy and locks her out of her house. When she tries to come inside Op tells her daughter that she’s adopted and if she wants to stay in the house, she needs to be independent and buy her own stuff or help her pay bills. Amy says slurs at Op and calls her a horrible mother. Amy storms out to live with her father who is as useless as it comes because his father grew distant and asks for payback to let her stay at his place. He gave her some time and let her have it in installments. But failing to do so she finds OP indirectly helping her out so she tries to ask for money from OP but she denies it. Op still indecisive about whether to help her out notices her old habit patterns which remind her that her daughter will never change and continue to mistreat her.
