Metro Line No. 1, also known as Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro Line, is the first urban railway line in the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway System with a total length of 19.7 km, of which the underground section is 2.6 km long through 3 stations and the elevated section is 17.1 km long through 11 stations. The line starts from Ben Thanh station to Long Binh depot (Thu Duc city), with a total of 17 trains, each train can carry 930 passengers, including 147 seated passengers and 783 standing passengers. When operating, the maximum speed of the train is 110 km/h (elevated section) and 80 km/h (underground section).
Metro Line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien will officially operate from 10:00 a.m. on December 22, ticket prices range from 6,000-20,000 VND/trip, monthly ticket 300,000 VND and daily ticket from 40,000-90,000 VND, unlimited trips.

2.1 Metro Line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Schedule
In the first 6 months of operation, Metro Line 1 opens at 5:00 and closes at 22:00, with regular intervals of 8-12 minutes/trip.
After 6 months, Metro Line 1 will operate from 5:00 to 23:30 every day, with a train frequency of 5 minutes/trip during peak hours, 10 minutes/trip during normal hours and 15 minutes/trip during off-peak hours.
