The COVID-19 pandemic is proving to be an added burden on cancer patients as lockdown restrictions make it harder for some to get treatment. Others are also concerned that going to hospitals might increase their risk of contracting the new coronavirus. But Dr. Manuel Francisco Roxas of the Philippine College of Surgeons, says there is now an alternative place of care for those who need to undergo chemotherapy.
