Samuel Goldwyn Films Revised Logo for Digital Cinema

IDP Distribution hired us to revise the Samuel Goldwyn Films theatrical logo for digital cinema use. Their existing logo was a transfer from a 35mm print, which was pretty blurry and grainy. We recreated the logo digitally at 4K resolution, matching the existing animation. We also added a 3D shadow effect to give it depth. The new logo was married to a remastered 6 channel soundtrack. IDP is now using the new logo at the head of their new releases. Additional versions of the logo were also created, including scope (2.35) and pan and scan (1.33) for video. This is the 1.78 HD version, which would be used for Blu-ray and streaming HD.
