CHAPTER 6 :: KERLINGARFJOLL
After a couple of days driving across different shades of rock, it was welcoming to see some color again. Iceland has so much variety in terrain that you can be in a valley of hills full of every color in the rainbow- and a moment later be on top of another glacier.
Securing vehicles that could handle that terrain and water, was essential. There’s no other way— and I’ll be honest, crossing through rivers is almost as exhilarating as flying into new territory. Well, almost. But it simply means that there’s never a time that ins’t peaking your senses. Over land, ice, or air.
The hills of Kerlingarfjoll are filled with color and thermic vents that make this an enchanting place to fly. Enjoy this chapter.
