Biological Hazards: A Type of Hazard in the Workplace

In this video I will be giving a brief overview of Biological Hazards, which is an important type of occupational hazard that a worker can be potentially exposed to!

We will be going over the health effects that biological hazards can have on the human body, the types of transmission modalities and what occupational factors impact on the susceptibility for exposure. Finally we go over the types of controls which should be in place to manage biological hazards in the workplace.
