Foundry VTT Wildshape and Disguise Self (Retired)

Today we are looking at a few solutions to set up wild shape and disguise self within Foundry. First, we will take a look at the steps needed to set up wildshape and polymorph. I have touched on the wildshape macro* we will be using in today’s video previously, but it has since been updated and is even easier to use and setup. As a note, it does seem like it will still be dependent upon the GM to delete the transformed actor. However, the player doesn’t appear to receive any sort of notification of this happening behind the scenes unlike the core DnD 5e system.

Next, we will take a look at two solutions to set up disguise self. The first makes use of DAE and a simple macro. This macro** will switch between two images. Once, when the macro is activated and a second when the effect expires. This is useful if you have a single image swap you would like to use for disguise self.

The second solution makes use of the wildcard feature*** which is inherent to Foundry and the module token HUD wildcard. This module allows for the user to quickly swap between any images associated with one token.
