Stolen SUV Chase Hits 140 MPH, Snaps a Pole in Half – FHP

🚨 Florida Highway Patrol chased a stolen Buick Enclave at 140 MPH into Orange County, ending in pure chaos. The SUV snapped a light pole in half, sideswiped a Dodge Dart, and even left a patrol Charger smoking mid-pursuit.
The driver ran, but the passenger was caught — already on felony probation with two active warrants.

According to the arrest report, passenger Jay’niren Namarvin Finley was taken into custody and charged with Resisting an Officer Without Violence, a Probation Violation, and held on two out-of-county warrants for Flee and Elude and Grand Theft Motor Vehicle. Mr. Finley was also on Felony Probation at the time of the chase.

During the vehicle inventory, troopers discovered a black trash bag full of Nike clothes with security tags still attached and no receipts. All items were seized and logged into evidence at Deland Station.

Both occupants of the stolen Buick were transported to the Seminole County Jail without incident. At the time of this report, the driver of the Buick had not yet been located. For this case, only one police report was released to us.
