This video features Rascal Flatts drummer Jim Riley playing with the Brazilian Samba track from his new book "Survival Guide For The Modern Drummer." it was co-written and features a percussion performance by Lalo Davila professor of percussion at MTSU. the first drum set groove is a representation of Samba Batucada followed by a mozambique inspired samba. There is also a songo on the bridge of this tune.
