Prof Muhammad Shahid graduated from Dow Medical College and started his residency from Civil Hospital Karachi.
He joined Aga Khan University and completed his Internal Medicine residency and later promoted to Instructor, Senior Instructor and Assistant Professor. He has done MCPS and FCPS and completed his MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health USA. Later he joined Indus Hospital; completed his Fellowship in Diabetes and Endocrinology from Liaquat National Hospital.
He joined National Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology, Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi as Associate Professor and later moved to SMBBMCL & LGH. He is examiner and supervisor of CPSP and worked with Government of Sindh as Focal person for Covid 19.
