2013 Volkswagen CC 2.0L 4 cylinder sport limp mode EPC light

This 2013 Volkswagen CC 2.0L Sport 4 cylinder had a complaint of Check engine light and EPC light on, also being in like limp mode. Checked DTC's with current and pending of P0300, P0301, P0303, P0304 along with a P2015. Our focus was to find out why the misfire. We scoped the ignition coil side to more or less see how the waveforms looked. We found something very peculiar on cylinder 3. We have come across this on a slightly older Volkswagen CC couple years back and I made the unfortunate decision of ohhh it needs new spark plugs and a ignition coil. We decided to boroscope this after pulling the spark plugs, which cylinder 3 plug had oil on the threads and gap was higher than the others at 1.5mm (spec is 1.0mm to 1.1mm).
Customer also said that they added some coolant, because it was low recently. They also said it had ran hot a time or so, not pull over your car fast hot, but hotter than normal. Reviewed the boroscope footage which tried going in order of cylinders 1, 2, 3 and 4. I could also tell cylinder 3 had the most going on. This is one circumstance you can't just replace a plug and coil and it will be fine, no this is the definite early stages of blown head gasket ready to pop soon. Also having 177,000 miles, its that time and the customer just bought it for their son as a surprise gift.
