Experience the Magic of Pookode Lake and Eagle's Flight Zipline in Wayanad - Steps Together

In this 3rd episode of Wayanad trip series, we bring you the travel experience of visiting Pookode lake of Wayanad and the adventurous Zip line of wayanad through the lush green tea estates.

After visiting Vayalada viewpoint, we headed back towards Vythiri.
Our next destination to visit was Eagle's Flight Zipline near Peringoda
The beautiful stretch of Thamarassery ghat is a bliss to drive.

Eagle's Flight Zipline:
This 200 m length Zipline goes from one end of the tea plantation valley to the other.
Ticket cost: 250 Rs.

Pookode Lake:
Pookode Lake is 3.5 km from Vythiri

Nestled between evergreen forest and the Western Ghats, Pookode Lake is spread over 8.5 hectares and has a depth of 6.5 meters.
Pookode is a natural freshwater lake nestling amid evergreen forests and mountain slopes at an altitude of 770 meters above sea level.
One of the main tributaries of Kabini River, the Panamaram rivulet originates from here.

Pookode Lake aquarium comprises a small display of an array of freshwater fishes.
Pookode Lake opening time is 9 AM, and it closes by 5 PM.
