Maxie walks into the McCall Jackal PI offices and is upset to find Spinelli and Mercedes hugging. She starts to go off on a rant thinking that Spinelli is trying to pay her back, but he stops her telling her that Mercedes is helping with the Briana Hughes case. After Mercedes leaves, Maxie apologizes and calls Spinelli her boyfriend. Just as he asks her to elaborate Robin and Patrick come in and start working on the Brianna case. Before they leave to tell Mac what they know Maxie points out that they could be called accessories to murder.
