You Don't Need to Participate in Contests - The Cavalier Way to Avoid the Contest

I've made it no secret that I don't like to participate in amateur radio contests. Yes I did some when I first got licensed, but that doesn't mean I have to continue to do so. So on Saturday, March 29, 2025, I headed out to US-3976 Cavalier Wildlife Management Area, just south of Chesapeake, Virginia, for my second Parks On The Air ‪@ParksOnTheAir‬ (POTA) activation while in Virginia for the weekend. With the CQ World Wide WPX SSB contest going on, I opted for my usually option... the WARC Bands! Watch the video to find out what happened!
