Phone Pyae Han (Chint Chint) addresses the Myanmar civil war and how teaching about peace at an early age could prevent civil wars, cultural wars, and even world wars. Furthermore, he makes reference to Buddhism and its five precepts to explain how they can be used to create peace within oneself. At a young age, Chint Chint meditated on the reasons behind conflict and brings his conclusions to the audience. Phone Pyae (Chint Chint) is one of a kind of student at UWC Thailand who loves to engage himself with wide range of activities in terms of sports and is always willing to give his best in all the things that he does. He is originally from Myanmar and wanted to use the TEDx platform to share with our audiences about the importance of peace in our lives and how we can perceive peace from the wisdom of Gautam Buddha.
