LOVELY BONES

Story:
Gin is attacked and 'killed' by a rogue experiment called Kaibutsu P4. Jerome, one of Gin's trusted friends, takes Weed in as his own son and together they kill the experiment with the help of Ohu soldiers that were under Gin's command. As Jerome is talking with Weed, Hougen comes. He is out to kill Weed so he can take over Ohu. Jerome hides Weed and goes off to face Hougen by himself. After a long fight, Jerome is beaten to the point of immobility by Hougen. Weed watches Jerome die and is overwhelmed with anger and sorrow. He takes it out on a boar that was threatening his packmates and an arrogant pushy guard dog. Then, Hougen appears at Gajou. Weed rushes back there, and on the way see the damage Hougen has done to his father's territory. Remembering his father and Jerome, he challenges Hougen. Hougen sees the ghosts of those he had killed and is frightened, but shakes off the feeling as he battles Weed. Then, unknown to them both, Gin arrives and watches the battle. It turns out he didn't actually die when Kaibutus attacked As he watches Hougen fight Weed, he is shocked when his son is 'killed' and remembers how his own father died. His rage takes over and he attempts to kill Hougen himself. He's unsuccessful and in his weakened state Hougen kills him. Weed regains consciousness just to see his father die, and then kills Hougen with the Battouga. He's sitting alone and goes into depression when he realizes that Hougen's death didn't bring him any tranquility or happiness. He remembers his father and Jerome and decides he's had enough. He commits suicide by drowning himself in the river and as he's dying he feels relieved that it's all over for him. He's buried next to Jerome and Gin.
