The Christmas market in the Buda Castle is still in preparation: workers are installing the wooden stalls, lights and decorations – you get a rare behind-the-scenes look at how the festive atmosphere is built up step by step.
While the market is not open yet, the real highlight of this walk is the breathtaking view of the Pest side: the illuminated Parliament, the Ferris wheel on Erzsébet Square, the Gresham Palace, Chain Bridge, Elisabeth Bridge and the riverside skyline glowing in the dark.
