Fountains Abbey sits on the edge of the Nidderdale AONB (area of outstanding natural beauty). It is a World Heritage Site owned and managed by the National Trust and English Heritage. It is well known for being the best preserved Cistercian Monastery in Britain and the perfect place to explore some of England's rich history.
